HEAL YOUR HAIRS WITH AYUPRA

Ayurvedic herbs have long been associated with hair care. Very often, various herbs are used in making conditioners, shampoos and rinses. If you were to consider your skin as a rolling landscape, the hair is tall grassland needing moisture, nourishment, and a firm root system to flourish. Therefore, the beauty of hair is largely dependent on your health.
Hair fall is the biggest and the most agonizing problem of the youth today. Ayurvedic remedies to counter the problem are fast gaining popularity among the masses. In ayurveda, hair fall is termed as Indralupta. At times, it is also referred to as khaalitya.
Ayurvedic hair care concepts cover all the aspects of hair health – growth promotion, natural colour management and prevention of hair fall. Ayurvedic classical literature emphasizes the utility of various herbal compounds in hair care. This interesting factor is dealt in very subtle way but with deepest classical back ground.   Hair is the sub tissue (Upa Dhatu) of Asthi (bone tissue) ; some consider it as the mala (by product/waste derivative) of Shukra dhatu (reproductive system).
In the origin and development of Kesha i.e. hair, there is significant need of Prithvi (earth element) and Akasha (space/ether) Mahabhoota. During the process of formation and development of hair, the successive role of other tissues can also be estimated; because, though its origin begins at the earliest for its appearance it takes much time. So the role of later dhatus like asthi and shukra can be well judged by this.
As far as the matter of hair and its growth is concerned, once again we can deduce the need of nutrition and essential body requirements as it is formed/derived from the later tissues. This is explained with the broad heading of Keshya concept. The word ‘keshya’ is suggestive of ‘keshaaya hitam yat tat’.It means that which is good for hair. So the goodness of hair can be understood by three perspectives like-
1. Kesha sanjanana-that which helps in the origin of hair
2. Kehsha vardhana-that which promotes hair growth or which makes hair dense and thick
3. Kesha ranjana – that which gives dark black color to the hair.
In concerns to the hair, Ayurvedic herbs nourish the hair, it revitalizes the scalp and controls the problem graying hair. Ayurvedic treatments thicken the hair and stops the hair loss and encourages a faster hair growth.

In Ayurveda, hair fall has been addressed by various names like Khalitya or Indralupta. This disease is classified under Shiro-roga. Hair fall is considered to be a problem of pitta dosha in Ayurveda and excess of Pitta dosha in the body is the chief cause of hair problems.. Ayurvedic hair loss treatment measures are known for their effectiveness. Usually the Ayurvedic treatment for hair loss includes diet, meditation, yoga, and yes, we cannot forget medicated herbal oil massage.

According to Ayurveda, hair is a byproduct of the breakdown of asthi (bones). The tissue material of bones is the constituents of hair and nails. The body naturally creates this tissue and if there is even the slightest of disturbance in the metabolism of asthi, it can cause hair fall. The metabolism of asthi depends on your body’s digestive fire. A dimming of this fire affects the health of your hair. Therefore, Ayurveda believes that there is a deep relationship between your digestive health and the health of your hair.
